Leeds Sanctuary are looking for a Wellbeing Practitioner
Leeds Sanctuary are looking for a passionate, motivated Wellbeing Practitioner to join their team. They are a relatively new organisation looking to increase their wellbeing offer through this exciting role. The initial 18 months fixed term contract will be for a 21 hour working week.
About Leeds Sanctuary
Leeds Sanctuary is the Methodist Leeds City Centre project; its work is focused on activism, wellbeing, meditation and community. Leeds Sanctuary’s values are Encounter, Justice, Sanctuary and Flourishing. They run the Leeds Craftivists, regular mindfulness and meditation, wellbeing courses, retreat days, a podcast and blog and are building an intentional discipleship community.
About the role
This is a new post for Leeds Sanctuary and the person appointed will be required to:
- Build new areas of wellbeing work
- Build relationships with stakeholders from different sectors in the city
- Plan and facilitate courses and groups
The salary will be £12.62 per hour, based from an office in Leeds City Centre and will include some evening and weekend work.
The applicants require previous experience and a diploma level qualification in a relevant area.
The appointment requires an enhanced DBS Disclosure.
